My dance experience began at the age of 4 under the guidance of Olga Ginzburg at Mary Murphy’s Champion Ballroom. Six months later, I competed in my first Ballroom competition, and since that initial experience, I have had the opportunity to win many awards, including a National Title. During that same period, I began training Classical Ballet, which I immediately fell in love with. At the age of 8 years old, I expanded my dancing by training in other styles, such as contemporary, tap, jazz, and hip-hop. After years of competing, I began training at Golden State Ballet and joined their pre-professional program, where I could be surrounded by others who also wanted to pursue a career in dance.
Of all dance styles, my favorite are Ballet and Ballroom due to being the most challenging and diverse. Dance training has required a lot of time away from my family, but my supportive family helped shape me with my teachers to be the dancer that I am today.
My most memorable achievement was winning the Mini Male Core Performer at Radix Nationals. The opportunity allowed me to travel, learn, and train with many amazing dancers and choreographers such as Brian Friedman, Talia Favia, Tyce Diorio, and Nappy Tabs. I recently awarded the Youth Grand Prix Award at the world’s largest global network of dance, Youth America Grand Prix.
